this idiot cut my hair in horrible layers. my longest layer is at the top of my boobs and my top layer with my bangs are a little past my ears, so it always falls out of my pony tail. i look like cal on titanic

If your hair doesn't grow because of breakage, there are products like leave-in conditioners that prevent snapping. Expensive yes, but they might do the trick.

I leave it overnight and it conditions my hair pretty nicely. Since I have thin hair, store-bought conditioners usually make my hair greasy and flat.
