It's true. Ebay have the same stuff sometimes, but charge more whereas its less on Aliexpress. I just hate how I'm fee'd when I pay on Aliexpress, why can't they get paypal back fgs?

It's no cheaper if I use taobao either because they charge for fee too, annoying.

I mostly buy craft supplies on aliexpress. I've never really had any bad experiences except recently I had a metal chain come to me in absolute horrible condition. But I was able to get a refund from the seller so whatever. Besides those items I buy a lot of cell phone cases because they're cute and cheap.

Anon the problem here isn't with initial bad reactions. Unregulated chemical production and distribution such as this is dangerous in the sense that whatever the hell they're putting into products such as these can and will leech into the skin and stay there and potentially cause problems later on. China is pretty popular for its carcinogens.

Either way you're a collosal fool for gambling with this kind of shit. Collosal.

These are probably funded by expensive makeup companies themselves so that they don't lose any business. There's no reason as to why a single eyeshadow should cost 30€.

I wish Ali was more like Taobao, both in variety and prices. Sometimes the prices you see on Ali would make sense if they were in yuan instead of usd. Like a single bamboo placemat is $17, when really it should be $2.50. idk

Sometimes I look at flights to China and think about going there for a month just to buy all the shit I want from auctions and Taobao and whatever else, then haul it all back home lol. For example, if I left next week and came back in May, I could get a nonstop both ways roundtrip to Beijing for under $500, plus $ for a 2nd bag, so prices there aren't unreasonable. A small collection of stuff I've bought and been pleasantly surprised by the quality of.

>Amethyst Plugs

These were a gift for a friend of mine. They arrived and were definitely legit with very pretty natural patterns in them. (seller: dreamlee jewelry group)

>Opalite plugs

Opalite is a synthetic material so these were very cost effective and actually looked very pretty. Don't get them if you're the kind of person who only wears specific materials in your ears though.

>Cheap pleather bracelet

Held up way longer than I needed it to. It looked pretty nice and nobody could tell I bought it for pennies until I mentioned it. (I recently spilled paint all over it though so..)

>Septum 'clickers'

These look so fucking cute. I get all kinds of compliments on them whenever I wear one. My only, and I mean only gripe is that they're those annoying bend-to-close type rings, but imo it's worth that little annoyance because there's nothing I love more than finding cheap, durable septum jewelry that doesn't irritate my skin. I'm never going back to mall jewellery. (seller:many, but I chose "Dongguan Tanaer Body Jewelry" and they ended up sending me some extras, bless)

>Edgy Sigil of Baphomet sweater

Another gift, and the sleeves were 3/4 instead of fullsize but the original listing is deleted, so I used that image instead. Anyway - that sweater held up surprisingly really well. It arrived like a year ago and my friend wore it as recently as last month, and the design on the front hasn't flaked off at all yet. I'm kind of amazed at that, seriously. I always thought buying AliExpress clothes would be like buying cheap doll clothes, but I guess it depends on who you're buying from?

>EYELASHEZ

Cute as fuck. It's hard to find lashes in stores that aren't super thick and dramatic and don't cost $10 for a decent pair. I haven't read anything about Aliexpress chinese eyelash horror stories yet, and I use DUO brand glue, so I think I'm safe. Also, the typos on the front of the package are pretty amusing.

>Silicone Cake Mold

So much yes. Truly, if you need one of these and you know the seller is reputable, get one. Everyone loves little heart cakes. They're so damn convenient if you're like me and most of your baking pans are super old and you're too lazy to scrape cake out of them. AND you can use them for everything other than baking; jellies, puddings, mini pies, ice cream, molded chocolate, anything.

god there is NOTHING I love more than a good deal.
