>>157136I don't think this is true. I'm petite and 90 pounds and have never looked fat in lolita lmao. maybe fat people look
fatter in lolita but small/normal sized look fine

>>157136lolita is actually very figure-flattering.
a lot of girls who are chubby wear lolita for the same reason that you see a lot of chubby girls wearing rockabilly/vintage styles. If you don't have a waist to speak of, dresses with fitted bodices, but full skirts that start at the natural waist (usually the smallest point of a woman's torso) will give the illusion of being an hourglass or pear shape rather than a rectangle.
especially in lolita, where petticoats are used, fat girls look 110% better than if they were wearing peplum tops and pencil skirts.

Crocs.

>>157137fat people who look fatter in lolita are probably just styling themselves wrong.
>>157141OP isn't asking for that. just what looks bad on
most people. There's always gonna be at least one person or specific body type + look that'll make something work.
Anyway, my pick is either drop crotch pants or birkenstocks.

Wide belts, I think you need a really slim body shape and it will give the illusion of a hourglass body or already have a body that's already a hourglass. Please apples…don't do this.

>>157145i think you also have to be a certain height. these were really trendy a few years ago so i tried some but….they just made me look stubby rather than slimmer.
>>157146honestly i think this is absolutely not the case and i think that a lot of the actual japanese people tht get posted on street snap blogs etc have just as shitty outfits. people just like them because they're japanese so they assume they're doing it correctly.
