lately i've had a lot of people saying im really skinny. Some of those may be in an insulting manner and some in just a general manner where people are like "OMG you're so skinny!".

I'm not a skeleton but it's been really bothering me. Considering being thick is 'in' atm.

I'm 5'1 and 42kg. I wonder if farmers would give me advice on how to gain weight ://

There's nothing wrong with being skinny tbh. I'm technically "thick" but I'm trying to lose weight because I want to be creepy and fragile-looking, not an Instahoe.
If you want to gain weight, eat more grains and carbs, drink more milk and snack more often.
It'll be hard because you'll get full faster, but push yourself. Clean off your plate.
If you don't really like snacks, you can just make sure you're nibbling on something like pic related whenever idle. One two-bar pouch is like 190 calories and it has 29.1g of carbs, so you can eat like 2-4 pouches and increase your caloric intake in addition to what you already eat. You'll gain weight fairly quickly that way.
Alternatively, eat lots of nuts. Almonds and pistachios are good.

tbh people who say stuff like that are just jealous. If they really thought you looked gross they wouldn't say anything. Does anyone ever go up to a fat ass and call them fat? No.

>Does anyone ever go up to a fat ass and call them fat? No.
I was verbally shit on a lot for being fat when I was younger and approaching obesity lmao

No. 157046

Don't gain weight just because other people are saying shit like that to you, it's their issue, don't make it yours. If you're naturally like that then it's pointless trying to go against it because you'll probably just lose it again eventually. You actually are skinny going by your height and weight, but if you're comfortable and healthy fuck everyone else's opinion, they're probably just complimenting and/or jealous and fishing for tips.

i know i shouldn't be affected by what they're saying but i really do want to gain weight. my body is so unattractive to me. i don't want to gain massive amounts. I just want gain a bit more fat to my body.

My goal is to get to at least 46 or 48kg. It's not very easy considering my quick metabolism

Once you start gaining weight you will want to be thin again. We all want what we cant have.

Just say fuck it and not care. Focus on fixing some thing most girls dont work on which is your brain.

well kids are a lot different obviously. Point is it's not socially acceptable to just go up to a fatty and call them.. a fatty.

It's not socially acceptable to go up to anybody and berate them about their appearance (everyone is brave online though). Distance yourself from the psychos who think it's okay.

No. 157051

Ignore it, it's just people being ignorant.

I'm not skinny and I've always had weight on me. I'm not fat but not slim? Inbetween, I dunno. But I think body shaming either thin or fat is as sad as each other.

Just try not to rise to the bait and ignore them.

No. 157052

OP, are you me? I'm in the same situation, just shorter and smaller. Everyone comments on how skinny and fragile I look. Instead of just eating more I'm also working out to gain muscle mass. I like my body but other people comments make me self-concious and uncomfortable.

I posted a big long way to figure out how many calories you should eat to gain weight but then realized you only wanna gain to be thick. :/ If you still want to, I wouldn't try to gain too much, I'm sure you look fine the way you are and unfortunately trying to gain could cause you to go past thickness into being overweight.

As long as you eat semi-healthy being your natural size is way better than turning into a hamplanet because you feel insecure . Plenty of people like skinny chicks.

I'm 5'9" and 105lb. I like the way I look now better then ever before, but some people bother me about it. Guys also don't ask me out as much. Whatever, I love being this thin.

You are perfect anon there is nothing to worry about, your weight is totally fine. I am kinda jealous even, i am 5"3 and 54kg i'm a tub of lard atm.

No. 157056

I'm 5'5 and 90lbs.
I usually eat around 1500 - 2000kcal a day. I could work harder to gain weight but as it is right now I've never had any health problems so it'd be pretty much for cosmetic reasons and to be honest, I don't really give a fuck what people think anymore.
Then again it also helps that I have a VERY thin frame (shoulder/wrists etc) so I guess it does depend on how you're built.

No. 157057

lol ladies just wait. Used to eat more than burly men twice my size and not gain a single pound. Then I hit mid-20s and am gaining non-stop even though I exercise and consume sub-1000cal a day. Enjoy your metabolism while you can

Yo does this work the other way around too?
Like, say you don't eat much but you naturally have a thicker (not obese for obvious reasons, but still soft/with assets) frame anyway. Would you rapidly start losing weight and become skelly-mode if you keep up your neglectful eating habits into adulthood?

it's weird to read someone thinking that, since a lot of girls where i live boast sapiosexuality, needing mental stimulation at the workplace and in in the bedroom, and how looks don't matter.

they're all fat and/or ugly with horrible personalities.

Same! I now have to watch what I eat in order to stay thin :(

I would tell you to not start focusing on your body to much. I recently lost a bunch of weight and I realised that I'm feeling even worst than before. Now that I have made a change I see all the flaws that I could change. There is no end, there is no accepting myself right now u_u ..

I get this shit all the time. I think people are just jelly tbh, when models come on TV in bikinis my friends make noises like "eeeew" "oh look at her ugh". I feel like the majority of people like to hide their jealousy behind "concern".

Yeah, I was one of those who were very thin even though I ate a lot of shit in high school. Now, in my twenties, I gotta watch what I eat ofc but it's not that bad because I learned how to eat healthy (better for my body in long term) instead of stuffing myself with crap constantly.

Anyway if you are just thin (but not Aly or Ashley skelly mode) people will be jelly. My friend told me I was sickly thin and should gain weight to look better but then she told me she was jealous because I was stuffing myself with fast food and yet I was sooo nicely thin. Ah, contradictions.

Are you me? That's me to a t. I used to be naturally thin and my nickname during school was Skeletor… then I hit 23-24, and gained around 40 pounds. It was crazy. :T I'm working to get it off, but it sucks.

No. 157064

>>157058
probably not. you just might not gain a whole lot more since you're not conditioned to eating large amounts like those other anons.

I did experience hovering around 130s in HS while eating whatever and not really exercising, to losing 10-15 lbs in college doing much of the same, but i guess eating smaller proportions/generally less (no 3 square homecooked meals anymore). But I do drink beer and stuff now and still have not gone up to my highest weight which was around 138 in 9/10th grade. Though, since I'm not super diligent about my weight it fluctuates a lot depending on what i'm doing.
