>>140965I know you said you don't like boots but would you consider booties? Something like attached? It's just hard to think of a good winter regular shoe that covers up your foot enough. I'd think you'd still end up cold. Idk, maybe loafers? As long as you're wearing long pants to cover the tops you can wear socks with them.

I bought a pair Mary Jane docs online and they do fit, almost too perfectly. My ankle rubs up against the back so painfully I can't walk it them at all. I'm trying to wear them around the house in thick socks, but that's painful too. Does anyone have experience in getting their shoes stretched or breaking them in?

http://www.modcloth.com/shop/oxfords-loafersThe quality can be hit or miss but they have a pretty wide selection.
I have seen flat booties before but it can be hard to find some that don't look like Uggs.

I have small feet so if I want anything cute, I wear kid's shoes as much as I'm embarrassed to admit it. Everything else fits uncomfortable unless they're boots. Could just be the brands sold at the shoe stores in my area. If I want a nice pair of heels I order them from antaina. They have lots of cute stuff on there.

FUCK I love shoes, but my biggest struggle is not wanting to repair/take care of them.
Case in point: my favorite pair are these Acne boots that I've only worn out for a few hours. One scuff to the smooth, smooth calf leather and I'm fucked :(

I've been thinking of buying some doc martens 1460's for the winter, but after lurking in various forums everyone seems divided but leaning on the opinion that the quality has gone to the shitter, that the leather is too thin now, and you are better buying something similar or the made in england line which i'm too much of a poorfag to afford.
Any farmers that got a new pair recently? Is the quality really THAT bad? Any other options with similar style/price range?

>>140974I agree that doc martens haven't got a leg to stand on when it comes to their lifetime guarantee anymore but saying that, I got a pair of DM Flora's last year and they still look pretty brand new.
If you take care of them and wax them/replace the laces/get the soles re-done when needed DMs still could last you years. They're not as good as they were but still better than anything else "fashionable" you can pick up.

I have small feet so shoe buying is very difficult for me.
I'm about a size 3.5 US but depending on the shoe sometimes size 4 or even 5 fits.
I typically have to get all of my shoes online. I recently discovered ASOS and it's been like a shoe wonderland for me. They have size 4's for a decent price and they're all SO CUTE. Pic related, current favorite pair.
>>140966I also have a pair just like this from American Eagle in size 5 but AE shoes often run small. So if you also have small feet I definitely recommend checking out ASOS and AE.

What do people think of Jeffrey Campbell? They're one of my only brand preferences for shoes. Otherwise I just tend to browse whatever and look for something that'll last.
I have a pair of black spiked Litas and they're pretty neat. Hard to make work with everyday wear though. (obviously)

So my favorite boots broke last fall and I need to buy new ones that look similar. They were cheap and from a street market in Korea so I'm not exactly sure what the specific style is called. But they are similar to combat boots (pic related) but shorter (since my calves are big). I'd also like it to be higher quality but around $50. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Never had a problem with asos quality as far as shoes go, had a pair of combats boots from them for 4 years and still going strong with 0 repairs.
YesStyle has a lot of boots of the exact same style ranging from 20 dllars to the hundreds, but their quality is absolute shit 99% of the time, unless you get lucky.

Macy's discount is the best one I've had. 20% back of the house, plus an extra 10%, and the coupons combined, so I can see why your co-workers walked around with MK. MK isn't that expensive, shoe wise. Their purses aren't that great either; the material isn't that great imo. Their shoes I personally don't like, besides their moccasins and boots, I'm in love with those.

>>172997>>173000I found a cheap pair of shoes with this style, maybe about three in heels. And as much as I love them I hate how everyone has to point out how tall they make me. I'm 5'9 so already on the taller side.
Any other tall anons deal with this? I never understood the big deal. While not all of them are like this, some make it seem like it's horrible to make myself taller than I already am. Not only does it make me stand up straight, which makes my back hurt less, it makes my legs look less chubby.
How do you even reply to people pointing out the obvious??

It's worth it though, because sometimes I get lucky and they fit perfectly and last me ages. It's great because they have cute styles you rarely find in real stores. Pic related are some I've bought that ended up being comfy and getting worn a lot even though they're not necessarily good quality.
In real life I tend to just go to basic stores for cheap shoes. Not sure which country you live in but for me it's places like Big W, Kmart, Target, shoe store chains like Payless/Spendless. Most regular shoe shops are expensive.

Any other edgy platform loving anons here? I've always wanted to try 'real' platforms but I'm clumsy as shit so my highest shoes are 2". I have worn rocking horse shoes a few times, but I felt so unstable it's not fun, plus I fell over a lot and embarrassed myself.
Can't walk in real heels either, only chunky lolita heels. I just bought these new demonias on pre-order and I'm praying I won't fall over in them when they get here, they are 3 1/2".
