Sometimes I wear a sports bra that pushes my chest down something wonderful and I can almost get away with it provided I wear tighter jeans and not loose ones, which, again with wide hips, just make you look fat.

however, the aesthetic pushes for a more masculine silhouette, so a boyish/waif-like figure really helps. the style emphasizes masculinity/androgyny so a very feminine figure doesn't work with it as well.
for example, here's a picture of Christina Hendricks – a super feminine actress with an hourglass figure and large bust. her outfit could be considered somewhat tomboyish and she pulls it off well, but it would look much more tomboyish on a woman with a more boyish figure. so, tl;dr: you can still wear the outfits, but it won't give off the same tomboy vibe as someone with a skinny/boyish figure

I've looked into this a lot because I have hormone problems and I'm somehow technically still in puberty, so my breasts just don't stop growing. I got a breast reduction last year from an H cup to a small C and here I am just over a year later back at a full D pushing E- and my weight has been consistent at 120 since I was a teenager (5"5). It's not considered a "medical issue" (Becuz everyone loves huge tits, right guys??) so my insurance doesn't give two fucks, but since I can't have kids anyway and can no longer lactate or feel my nipples from the reduction I have zero use for them anyway. I'm currently saving up for a mastectomy and I can't fucking wait.
