There’s just too much to go into with this guy, Joe Symon. He’s been an online menace for over six years and there were numerous forums dedicated to educating people about his behavior. The main one was a subreddit called WatchingJoeSymon which listed dozens (maybe hundreds) of peoples interactions with him. Which he managed to get removed (he thinks all the videos of him are gone, but they aren’t). He claimed to be bullied and collected over $9,000 meanwhile he has doxed some of the same people who donated to him believing he was a
victim. Before this latest scheme he collected donations to replace his computer and phone that he claimed was stolen after he was drugged in Mexico, which was later discovered to be a lie that he admitted to (never returning the several thousands of dollars collected because of it). He claims to be a Film and Theater actor and singer but seems to make most of his money through donations by manipulating people’s good will on social media. He’s Jewish and Gay, and claims people harass him because of that, but people that know him for any length of time know that is not true, he was even caught trolling himself in order to get sympathy for more donations. He’s been banned from using PayPal and he’s been banned for life from at least one social media streaming site (Periscope) and possible others, but he just moves to another platform and starts all over again. Lately he’s been using Facebook and Freefunder.com, so if you ever encounter him, do yourself a favor and check the Reddit board to find out what dozens if not hundreds of people’s experiences with him before feeling sorry for him and sending him any money or exposing any private details to him that he can later use against you. He’s even tracked down family members of people who supported him when they stopped in order to get details and then threaten to expose their identities online. He’s even admitted to calling at least two employers on at least two different former supporters trying to get them fired (one was a nurse and he filed complaints with the nursing board against the person making false alegations, the other person was another stage actor and he called the theater where she was performing trying to get her fired), and encourages the people that follow him on social media to also lash out and they’ve also been responsible for getting people fired. There were dozens of incriminating videos of him posted on the, Watching Joe Symon reddit board (showing all these things in his own words and the words of his
victims) and over 30,000 comments/posts, but the weasel managed to get it taken down, by having his minions mass report the subreddit. Now he claims to be working on a documentary about cyber-mobbing where he will play the
victim. I can’t believe that this guy is a stage and film/tv actor (although very minor) and vocal coach to children that this isn’t a bigger story. Check for yourself and let a friend know.
