Please tell me I'm not the only one who hate fruit basket's art style in the second half of the series. The men especially look hideous with their long midface. I feel like her same-face syndrome worsened as well yet I only see everyone praising the art style change as more mature or something. The old art style was a lot more expressive and esthetically pleasing.

The characters looked way more stylish in the first half compared to the second half although you could argue that's because the early 2000s was horrible when it came to fashion. The characters' faces became a lot less expressive but you already said that. For some reason everyone's hands look fucked up later as well. Even the humor in the beginning of the manga was way better than in the latest parts, and Twinkle Stars later was even worse. The worst case is Yuki looking like a very androgynous and beautiful bishonen and becoming some random guy at the end of the manga. As a teenager when the manga barely ended I remember seeing a lot of girls online praising the new art style, I didn't know if they were coping and lying to themselves or if they just had terrible taste.
