Tried reading Kowloon Generic Romance and although the setting is interesting (sci-fi Kowloon), I quickly had to drop because a) I hate the way the female lead is drawn and b) the depiction of Kowloon, even for a speculative modern reinterpretation, is all wrong given the history of the location. I really wanted to like this one, bummer.
