I don't think anyone takes him seriously. Like >>49594 said, he's a PR stunt put in place to make mobster queen Hillary look good. Trump is good friends with the Clintons. He's basically a living meme and Americans have hated him for a while.

Sanders will not and can not help America. Our democratic system is an illusion and our government is so ridiculously corrupt, that it's almost impossible to find a person in power that is not an absolute psychopath. A new president will fix absolutely nothing.

Americans would be better off not voting for anyone, because anyone who's elected will just continue the trend of lying to us, ignoring the people, and slowly taking away our rights.

The left vs. right vs. middle paradigm is a phony circus that keeps Americans distracted while criminals slowly destroy our country (and others). Republicans vs. Democrats is just a way to divide and conquer. It keeps everybody fighting each other over trivial issues, while more important things fly under the radar. Another example would be the "race issues" that are all the rage in the main steam media right now. Yet another another ploy to keep people distracted.

Unfortunately we will keep electing these people until Americans fucking wake up and realize that we've been lied to and manipulated for a very long time. We've let our country fall to absolute shit, and Bernie Sanders will probably just make it worse.

This is the kind of the same sentiment as is what is present in the UK right now, only we're currently in the state into sliding into complete corruption. It's awful to behold and is why I'm emigrating in the future.

Alas, some actually are taking him seriously. I have some rednecks in the family and while they are utterly lovely people otherwise, their political stances are mindboggling at times. As of this moment, they intend to vote for Trump since they sincerely believe he has a good head on his shoulders. Who knows how many people take Trump seriously when politics aren't usually discussed publicly?
