Do you need a shopping service for Japanese Rakuten? American Rakuten is aliexpress-tier knockoff shit, Japanese Rakuten has brand shops.

Dumb question, how easy/cheap/worth it is it to use Taobao from Japan?

While Japan is cheap, it still doesn't match up with Taobao.

My friend runs a personal SS for me and a couple of our friends. She lives in Japan so she does all my in-store, web shop and auctions. She doesn't charge me a fee aside from train fare. I used to use this Japanese girl as a SS, but she ended us scamming out of $500. She apparently scammed a few girls as well, but some eventual got there items about a year or so later. I've also used Rosaire/Lisa's SS. Even though she was getting a bad rep at the time I never had issues with her SS. She was able to get my AP GLoria JSK after to was sold out in other stores. So yeah I tend to stick with SS that can actually go into the stores and check the stock. Bad side is my current shopping service is a gaijin so there have been a couple of times where she wasn't able to bid on items for me. I think the most reputable and popular SS are Tenshi shop and Tokyo Pirates. Never heard a bad thing about either of them.

For Japanese orders/auctions I use From Japan. Their extra charges add up after a while but I've never had any issues with them, so I still use the site because they seem safe enough. I've heard tenso/buyee is also good but they don't do auctions like FJ.

It depends on the store. If you're not sure send them an e-mail and see if they respond. Some stores might give you alternative shipping options this way but in general any store that offers international shipping on their page will send by EMS.

It looks like buyee has a promotion for Rakuten where they don't charge a service fee, you might like that. It's also for Amazon JP but that site already has overseas shipping for stuff like books.

Are you using Global Rakuten? They have brand things and you don't need a shopping service. It'll also tell you if things can't be shipped to the US.

It's the leopard print military style one, it's on sale everywhere which is why in scared I'll miss out on it and it won't be available anymore soon. Idk what shop it was in, I just searched "sex pot revenge jacket" and picked it out of the results without paying attention to the shop and when I tried to add it to my cart it said they couldn't ship it to my country (US).
