I think Maggie Rogers's album Surrender might be the best album of the 2020s on account of its range and emotional depth. Energetic and upbeat songs like "Shatter", "Want Want" and "Overdrive" compliment the more relaxed songs like "Be Cool". Plenty of melancholic sentimentality can be heard on "Anywhere With You" and "Begging for Rain". Rest assured, the album is far from monotonous. What separates her from other Indie darlings is that her songs feel real and her themes pure without being kitsch or trite.

This is the one that immediately hooked me.

It's just so beautiful and dreamy, it makes me yearn for love and intimacy even though all of my beloveds are fictional which it hurts so I constantly daydream being in romantic scenarios with them whenever this song plays. Best part around 3:04 gives me chills every time. Sorry if all this sounds cringe but I saw a LADS edit with this song and got emotional.

I hope it's ok to post this here, idk where else to post. I'm listening to Blade of Grass by Gaga on spotify and there's a very strange sound at around 3:07-3:08. She goes "C'mon and" And then for less than a second it sounds like she just says "O", not singing or anything. It sounds like it's a leftover or was mistakenly inserted there. Can anyone check and tell me if I'm hallucinating???
