I was thinking back on things I watched as a kid and seriously what were they thinking when making Star Vs? Like seriously what went through their minds and thought this kind of shit was a good idea? Did Star really need to go through this kind of arc with her best friend?

I watched SVTFOE too as a kid and I must say that the 90s were the better decade for disney tv compared to the 2000s/2010s. It sucks too because it was a well animated series, I had more fun imagining it was a better show than actually watching it. That's what the entire 2010s decade for cartoons felt like.

I don't think I would've believed in half the schitzo conspiracies if shows like Star vs, Steven Universe and Adventure time weren't so wierd.(ok but, why hitler)

I feel like 2000s Disney was still pretty solid, but yeah, the best version of most 2010s series is the version in your head rather than the actual one.
Sucks that Star Vs is probably the closest thing we're getting to a shoujo series in the West (America).
