Btw what do you nonnas see the character's genders as? I've seen people refer to Chiikawa as both male or female (and some retards calling it "non-binary" as well, kek). There's characters like Shisa and Kani that (for me) are definitely female and characters like Hachiware and Kurimanju that are definitely male. Others I'm not so sure.

grass weeding exam arc, this may sound silly but it resonated within me as someone who watched others accomplish things that i failed to achieve. I actually cried a little watching it animated! It truly captured how it feels to be let down but making the most of it anyways and having fun despite the failure. I also like the random filler episodes based off the comic strips where chiikawa is doing mundane things like clipping nails and doing a silly dance

my little pink pochette chiikawa nui is my most beloved possession, I take her everywhere with me. I also have a chiikawa themed keychain caliber with a bunch of gachapon charms. I dont really have much chiikawa merch since I prefer collecting Nagano bear products, though I do wish to hopefully get the Nagano x Chiikawa collab figurine because its so freaking cute.

that when you first encounter it you think "ah it's another sanrio-esque thing for children", then you read some summary of it and it sounds insane (picrel is like wtf), but after reading all available chapters online it becomes a very cute, interesting, wholesome series (like I said picrel sounds insane but don't worry they never get really hurt and there's no gratuitous violence or anything of the sort)

Hachiware's voice is too high so it doesn't immediately register as male, the voice actor grows up through the series but it's not deep or anything. Rakko has a bishie anime voice. Kurimanju just does noises so it's all up to interpretation, everyone else passes as female no prob.
I may be in a minority here but idgaf about what gender they are kek, they're just cute creatures to me.

>Favorite arc so far?Everyone mentions the weed certification exam arc for good reason, I love seeing Hachiware and Chiikawa's close friendship despite the occasional struggles they face. But one of my favorite episodes is still the morning exercise one purely because it is the cutest thing I've ever seen

In a later episode she is seen running away from a monster that is chanting "give it back", what "it" was is not disclosed.
