The study is also more than 10 years old, and predates universal legal gay marriage in the USA, as well as global acceptation of same-sex relationships (second link): children who live in a somewhat ostracized family will of course have more difficulties fitting in

Strange that the wild west genre died. Even with anime many of my favorite series were westernlike, usually space western though.
I was also not aware that horror was still popular, it always stroke me as 90s thing. But I lost the interest in it after growing up so maybe I just don't notice.

>>276158>The first video game was made by a woman? The Sumerian Game (1964) by Mabel Addis is
not the earliest computer or electronic game at all. More than a decade before, computer and electronic games were already being developed. Unless it's bad wording, the infographic has got it horribly wrong, the photo isn't even of the game's designer but of a young student playing the game. Even the image of the supposed summary for Mabel Addis' game is of another video game that was made as a recreation of it: King of Sumeria (1969), AKA The Sumer Game, by Doug Dyment. What shitty, lazy-ass research.
What's true is that The Sumerian Game at least
could be considered (one of) the first business simulation/city-building video game, as well as the first video game with a narrative (probably what is meant in the infographic) and the first edutainment game, although there seem to have existed business/resource management video games a few years before this one, albeit much more barebones and seemingly less fun than The Sumerian Game. Nonetheless, it seems that it indirectly helped in the creation of the historical strategy/city-builder genre: The Sumerian Game inspired King of Sumeria which inspired Hamurabi (1971), which in turn became very popular in that decade after it was published in a programming book containing games in BASIC language, and a few early city-builder games with a more modern design were influenced by Hamurabi.
>>276206No, the person you're referring to only created the first
adventure game with
graphics, that's all. Even in the thumbnail of your video it doesn't say "first video game" but "first adventure game" (which is also wrong, because text adventure games without graphics existed before Roberta Williams created Mystery House). Plenty of other video games with no text or plot existed (shooter, sports, puzzle) as well as games that were all text and plot but no action (text adventure, text-based RPGs). Although being both the first graphical adventure game and one of the earliest horror video games ever, Mystery House is a pretty important piece of gaming history nonetheless. Needless to say, your claim that she created the first "civilian-made" video game is also blatantly untrue.

>>283538>>283671>>284015Male top models probably get picked out by homosexuals fairly often, it wouldn't surprise me considering some of the most established fashion designers are gay supposedly. But it would be interesting to see a rankings chart that's based on something tangible like top model's salaries, but then again models in general aren't necessarily the most attractive people, they're too boney and share a same-face that's so sterile of offensive features to the point of becoming boringly unlovable. After all, models get picked to show off clothing, not themselves. How attractive can a walking cloth-hanger get anyway, i don't like models.

>>283538>>283671>>283671This graph obviously came from lookism forums, made by men who obsess over physical details(jaw sizes, jawlines, head-shapes e.t.c) to the point of autism, by their logic men that have "max stat" of these traits should be the most attractive, not realizing that most women prefer well founded features, most people would prefer young johnny depp over most of the nethanderals in the graph
