In retrospect, fair enough because Dumbledore gay, but I personally disagree with anyone who says any character in HP seemed gay because JKR just wasn't good at writing any romantic sentiments even when they were indeed meant to be there, all the couples are super forced. I'd argue that Ron/Hermione was the least contrived because we had actually seem their relationship through several books and being an obvious trope of "arguing like an elderly couple", but even then when JKR started writing them as actually romentically interested, it was horrible, a drag to read through

Yes, Sirius and Remus were intentionally played up as gay in the Prisoner of Azkaban movie although book Sirius is obsessed with James Potter. JKR herself doesn't seem to like the thought of him being gay but I think it's a fair enough interpretation. The whole concept of the marauders group feels extremely homosexual to me but I imagine she was going for more of a boarding school chums vibe kek
