Artemisia Gentileschi of course. I love every piece of her work. I was incredibly saddened by her biography. It's not just that she was raped but the woman she trusted at that time turned her back on Artemisia and didn't help while she was crying out for her.
Regardless, she continued to paint masterpieces.

This is the work of Camille Claudel. Her work is so beautiful and full of raw emotion. Her life was really sa and she had to battle a lot with mental illness and sexism, I'm glad that she is now receiving the attention that she deserves.

Louise Bourgeois is one of my favorite modern artist ever. It's agressively feminine in a very primal, organic and disturbing way that I love.
Her work on sexuality and the female body is amazing, but her sculpture will always be my favorite. It's gorgeous and terrifing! She was so ahead of her time and it's a shame that she is not as famous as she deserves !
I highly recomend looking at this video from the Tate if you want a quick look into her work and personality. try to ignore scrotes that like to see her rightful anger as childlike emotions though, men are really challenged by her art whereas all women that I know find her very empowering:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy7xJhImnLwand a longer documentary that I liked in case someone might be interested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHyAsMdBbH4I also find it really interesting that she started her life by learning mathematics and geometry and then later changed for art. She is one of my biggest inspiration also in her way of carrying herself and not trying to please people. Her interviews are all amazing !

Her life story is heartbreacking. I really appreciate her early work where she used all of her rage to explore and deal with the sexual abuse from her father.
