I don’t even know anymore, anon, I swear everyone is related to everyone nowadays in one way or another.
But tbh, I did watch the plot relevant episodes and no, they’re not related, the color of the gem just means they’re like from the “same race” even if they’re different types of gems.
Like, just because a lapiz lazuli is blue, doesn’t mean she’s related to a blue sapphire, they’re from different classes/families.
If you did have a Rubi into another Rubi, that would be closer to incest, because they’re the same class/family. st least that’s how I assume it is, I’m not that much into the lore
