A Russian invasion due to the ongoing attacks by Ukrainian fascist in the Donbas region is also unlikely because this has been happening for almost ten years now and while Russia takes in refugees, Putin hasn't been involved very much (probably because the region is ruled by socialists while Russia's government is conservative-capitalist.
Imagine if Mexico joined the Brics states and Russia and China would station their troops right next to Texas. I doubt the American response would be as calm as that of Russia right now.
