Every doodle board has a theme to encourage creativity. There are currently 4 main boards that are cycled through, and when the current board is nearly full a poll will be posted for users to vote on the next theme. Polls stay up for about 2-3 days, and they are your sign that the board will be cleared soon. A picture of the completed board and the new theme name will be posted. Occasional reminders will be posted with the link and theme of the current board. Miss the previous theme? That's alright! Just go to the previous board and add your doodle. Make sure to post it to the thread when you're done.

If you have any theme requests, please post them! We always appreciate new theme suggestions. Themes are merely a suggestion, you can draw whatever you like on the board but please keep in mind that we have a shitpost/no theme board.

Aside from the main board(s), there may also be multiple active side boards at any given time. These side boards have themes such as coloring book, vent/horror, shitposting/no theme, etc.

If you make a new layer and then leave the board you may not be able to access that layer again due to restrictions put on the boards to protect against raids and defacing. In this case, feel free to ask in this thread for your layer back and an admin will assist you.

In general, please do not be afraid to ask for help with anything. Admins cannot be active 24/7 but we will try to help you work out any issues as soon as possible.

I work in retail only part-time because I would be suicidal if I worked more than 6 hours a day (I tried working 10 a day in the past and it landed me in the psychward). Honestly I kinda like it. Yes, working minimum wage in a dead-end job sucks. Yes, customers suck. But I really enjoy the routine, being on my feet the whole time and getting to be around people. I'm an ex-NEET so I'm feeling pretty accomplished working this job for almost two years now and I even moved into my own appartement in the meantime! I'd say one of the worst parts is how many people quit and all the new people you have to explain stuff to you barely know yourself. My last job was awful, I was a cashier for 35 hours a week and we were so understaffed I couldn't leave the cash register so the days felt so long. It’s funny that about 6 months ago I was genuinely concerned that i’d lose my residence and be kicked out the country because I couldn’t find a job, thinking of the logistics of starting anew once i’m deported to my home country and now i’m pissed that someone arranged a 3 hour in person meeting, i’m mandatory on the ONE day of the week I marked myself as home office. Nonas i think i'm going insane, i need to leave my ghost city but i need to find a job to save money to do it.
The issue is that this place has nothing but family owned supermarkets and bars, there are some private doctors, saloons, one weird doorknob shop, one tailoring shop, some schools, some flower shops, even the hospital is failing even though i'm supposed to live in an important city.
It's a complete ghost town, any shop that opens closes, everytime i could find a job was somewhere out but i couldn't keep up with it because the train and bus services suck here.
I'd appreciate any tip but i'm really considering just looking for something online but i'm not sure what i have to look for, i thought that maybe after covid there would be more things like that but is it possible to get something stable out of it? I like to draw in my part time but i really want to keep that for other projects i have and not commissions.
I feel so awful, i've moved here since i was a kid and not even my mother could find a job here, my father worked in another city but ofc he had to leave my family.

I recommend getting an online job to save up some money. Commissions can be good, but you would only be drawing the most degenerate porn so keep that in mind. It would be better to get something in customer service and save up a little money, then you can move to a big city and get an in person job.
Once you get to the big city, hotels are an easy starter job, but nursing homes normally also need people to make beds and bring the patients snacks. Worst case scenario, fast food is always hiring. You'll have to start out with several roommates (try to shoot for only female roommates), but as things get better and you get a better job, you'll make money and be able to move to better neighborhoods.
