Am I too old to cosplay? I'm turning 25 years old in July.
I'm blonde (hair is naturally a lot darker), I have blue eyes. I'm 4'11", natural and well cared for 30i chest, 21" waist, 32" hips, hourglass shape. I weigh around 100-110 pounds. I don't quite have visible abs yet but I'm getting there. I work out with walking, running, and calisthenics at least 30 minutes every other day. I eat a relatively healthy diet and stay under 1,200 calories a day and take a good multivitamin. I do not have wrinkles on my face, yet, unlike a very famous certain somebody who is not much older than I am. I am extremely diligent about hygiene and skincare. My teeth are somewhat crooked, but so are hers, it's mostly the bottom row. The top row is almost completely straight. I included this information because I feel that cosplaying is highly aesthetic.
I actually kind of want to start cosplaying on the side, mostly for fun.
I'm an artist and a seamstress. I've been drawing, sewing, and embroidering as my line of work for quite some time now. (3-5 years professionally, many before then.)
I'm also incredibly shy. Like I don't leave my apartment except to go to the gym here, which no body uses at night because it's so tiny, to buy groceries, or to ship whatever work I've made. My boyfriend suggested cosplaying since he thinks I'd like it and apparently thinks I look young enough to even start a cosplaying career. I really don't know about that but I wouldn't mind doing it for fun.

I am so sorry about the super shitty quality of the photo. (I had no makeup except for gray contact lenses.) I do have acne when it's that time of the month or when I am heavily stressed for prolonged periods of time, and I usually wear makeup to cover that up, but not here. (I'm sort of okay with makeup but I'm still learning. I put makeup on for the first time around age 22. I very rarely wear it.) That's why I covered my face. I have a busted up phone that takes shitty pictures with its front camera.

TL;DR: Am I too old to cosplay? I'm turning 25 soon. I'm in decent shape, somewhat busty, hourglass figure, normal weight for my height of 4'11". I don't have wrinkles yet due to diligent skincare and good hygiene. I know how to sew. I'm trying to get out more.

Thanks!

you'll never be extremely popular because you don't have time to build up that kind of fanbase before you start to wrinkle and sag, but you've got enough good years left in you to have some fun producing quality cosplays and showing them off

so not too old to cosplay is what i'm getting at, but don't expect to get anything but fun out of it

Thank you for your honest opinion! That's exactly why I asked this here!

Just another question, I do make enough that I could have things like a face lift, Botox, or a chemical peel done if I need it. Haven't had to do that yet and I don't see having to do so for at least another five to six years. I seriously don't have any wrinkles on my face..yet… I keep saying yet because some people seem to end up with them in a matter of months.
Okay, and one more question, there are some absolutely awful cosplayers (at least a few of those are somewhat popular) out there who have nothing more than a good body who are a lot older than me. How is it that those cosplayers even have a fanbase? There's this one cosplayer who usually just wears this dingy, cheap-looking Samus spandex cosplay who's way overweight, looks kinda rough to me, and even she gets like $2,000+ a month on Patreon. I forget her name. I'd have to check my bookmarks on my computer later. Lol. I'm sorry. I'm just wondering how the fuck that happens, that's all.
