How common is it to find a best friend in adult age, as in +30?

I think it can be common if you do to places like conventions and look for groups online. I have made some friends in my 30s through comic cons and discord, but it's hard in general finding a good friend in your 30s because people are usually focused on their partners and families or careers by then.

No. 1635248

No offense to the nona above but do you think it's childish to refer to someone as your "best friend"? i can't use it sincerely because it feels like something you say in gradeschool. Also feels oddly loaded like by comparison your other friends aren't as good. And if you have more than one "best friend" that's cheating and you should just call them your friend. At the same time, I can't deny that some friends are closer to you than others (but I personally can't use the term "close friend" because my sister used to use it as code for "I'm sleeping with them" lol.)

I got an argument about how the playboy in love trope was unrealistic. (It's that a man sleeps with hundreds of women tossing them aside magically finds the perfect woman and doesn't sleep around anymore)
Is there any statistics or studies about this that prove or disprove my stance (that its a bullshit fantasy like the "I Can Fix Him" trope)?
Like isn't there a study on how the more partners a person has the less likely they are to form permanent bonds and just divorce more later?

How long until you need the money? And are you looking to just stop your currency from devaluing, or do you want money on top of that? If you don't need the money for between one and five years, get a cd. The one year rates are at 5.25% which is a solid return. Plus, some of them have emergency clauses where you can withdraw the money at any time, but you don't get the interest. So you don't beat inflation, but the money is easily liquidized.

Very stupid question. I think my older sister abused me sexually when I was a child. I don’t have any recollection of such event, but my body down there reacts funny when reading about such things (first was when Lena Dunham wrote about abusing her sister). And I’m straight. I have no sexual desire towards other women. I’m married and I’ve always been with men only. My sister is 9 years older and she used to bully me relentlessly. She herself says that she’s attracted to women and that she’s always known that. she had two husbands and children with them too, but she had relationships with women too, so I think she might be bi. But that doesn’t really matter. How do I ask her if she did something inappropriate to me when I was a child? She’s also very sad when anyone mentions our childhood, that she bullied me and hated me, that she did horrible things to me. And always saying how she loves me now.. I just remember her scaring me and choking me. My mind is blank but I feel weird things in my body when I even think of this. How do I ask her if she did something inappropriate to me? Part of me doesn’t want to know, but it’s been nagging at me for such a long time and I think I need to know, because I’ve always had problems with sexual life, never being able to enjoy it really, it’s always a chore for me, something that must be done to please your partner.
Tl;dr how to ask my sister what she really did to me when I was a child?

No. 1635717

>>1635706
I think you need to be really careful about how you approach this issue. Do you have any recollection of sexual abuse at all, anything that manifested at the time you think it happened? This could be extreme mood changes, fear, bed wetting etc. I think sexual molestation can be common among children because of how many men sexually abuse kids, but without more info what you're saying is pretty vague. That 'funny feeling' can easily be the residual dislike you have for how she treated you growing up, so obsessing over it won't cause any repressed memories to surface rather than give you false ones if you don't already have them. She bullied you and hurt you, I don't know you and I don't want to assume anything but you could honestly just be projecting some internalized homophobia onto her for being bi. If she did sexually abuse you, there would be a noticeable change in your behaviors at the time, whether re-enactment, erratic behavior, unexplained hypersexuality or self touching etc. Your mother may know if you ask, although I don't advise implying any of your siblings make you feel that way.

Thank you for your thoughtful response! My mother would never know if something inappropriate would occur, she has a narcissistic disorder (real diagnosed one), she only cares for herself, pitted me and my sister against each other And also was too preoccupied with my alcoholic father.
I know I just might be projecting and nothing would made me happier if that’s the case.

I experienced continuous breaches of my bodily autonomy in my childhood and later. It’s all so muddled. I have no memories until I was six. It might just be my mind deceiving me and making things up from shattered memories.
I don’t want to hurt anyone. I just want to know. For me. I just need to know why I am so wrong. I discovered a lot of things from my past and it has helped me so much. To understand. But there is this thing that I’m so ashamed of, so ashamed I couldn’t even tell my therapist and I’m writing about it on an anonymous board about. I can’t have a normal sexual intercourse with anyone unless blackout drunk. From the very first time. And I am just searching for the reason. To help me understand. Maybe there isn’t any and I just might brand myself as an asexual.

Repressed memories is pretty common with csa, but I think that wanting to unearth the memories is doing yourself injustice because it's a tactic of self-preservation. Your sister could have been abused too. If it's a conversation you really want to have with her, make sure you are prepared to do so with self restraint, because on the off chance that she didnt, you could really hurt her and your already tense relationship. Sorry you have a narcmom too. Maybe whenever you've already delved into convo with your sister, just ask her if she ever had any strange experiences with relatives or family friends as a child. Dont explicitly imply anyone, just say you have always suspected someone has hurt you if she prods.

It has been my dream to return to my second home country (I have dual citizenship), and since I already have a degree, know the language at a conversational level, and have 9k in my bank account, I don’t think I’d have any issue relocating. However my mother insists that it’s impossible and that everything is a lot more expensive than I think it is and that I’d have a hard time fitting in, even though I don’t care + the living costs don’t even seem that bad. It’s ironic considering that she originally planned that we relocate there after I graduated high school (that was the case until we moved states during my 2nd year) and my dad works this labor intensive job overseas and makes more than enough so that we could live wherever we want. It’s almost like my mom is against me achieving my goals and wants me to suffer, but I am thinking of moving by myself even if it ends up being extremely risky. I am only 21, what should I do?

Japan is an insanely popular choice for wannabe expats, there are endless resources to research exactly what it's like there and if it would be right for you. Maybe you should consider a temporary stay for language school or teaching english or something, so you have enough experience to convince your mother it's a good idea and figure out for yourself if it's worth the risk.

You're in a good position because of your citizenship and language skills, and moving to another country is not unusual for young people even if it's not permanent. But assuming you want to maintain a decent relationship with your mother it's a good idea to do your due diligence prior to making any decisions. I doubt she wants you to suffer, she might be underestimating you or just wanting to keep you nearby.

I'm not starting an infighting or trying to bait anons itt but I have a genuine question.
So, it's probably obvious that in popular media thin women are presented as a model of what a woman needs to look like.
But hanging around moids on 4chans I noticed that they actually prefer… pretty full-figured women. And not like hourglass, no, actually overweight women. I'm talking about the ticc coombrained meme. Where is this coming from? It's that weird thing where they draw a character with giant ass and hips and looks not so different from tumblr art where every character is obese. Except 4chan moids make them more coombrained.
What gives? Men hate fat women but at the same time oggle over obviously overweight e-celebs/fan characters.
Also where is that trend of absolutely massive hips/ass is coming from? I legitimately baffled.

Should I reach out to the individuals who hurt me in the past so that it might provide the closure I need to move forward?
Several months ago I was told that someone who 'ruined' my life was attempting to contact me in order to address the misunderstandings we had in the past. Those 'misunderstandings' were me rejecting their advances which caused him to spread lies about me with a group of his friends that made everyone I was friends with and my former partner to turn against me and subject me to relentless bullying and urged me to end my own life. Long story short, I still struggle to recover from the trauma that happened to me, I don't have friends and tried my best to clear my name In the past, I've grown scared to speak with anyone and it's really ruined me, I tried constantly ending my life in the past after what happened but I grew from wanting to do harm to myself but I want closure and I want to forget what happened.

No. 1635986

Three things.
1. Everyone has their own tastes. Some men like thin bodies, some men like thick bodies, some men like severe anorexia, some men like morbid obesity. 4chan is an anonymous place where men who might be especially quiet about their tastes can be open. IME, most commonly, men tend to be most attracted to "thicker" women. Typically not obese, but definitely fatter than what fashion-conscious women tend to think. They like thin women too, but the preference is generally for thicker thighs/asses/breasts and a slight stomach because it activates their brain cells, and 99% of the pressure to actually be skinny comes from other women and gay men.
2. Mainstream media/fashion isn't decided by the majority of the population's deepest desires, but by gay men who want to keep women buying shit and feeling insecure/neurotic. In modern society, it's easier to be at least slightly overweight than it is to be underweight. Factor that in with the fact that it's literally cheaper to produce smaller-sized clothes, and there's an incentive to push thinness.
3. In general, 4chan is a terrible place to take men's opinions from. You're going to end up thinking incels, closeted bisexual "trap" obsessives, pedophiles and men who jack off to My Little Pony are just the average males.

No. 1635993

If the phrasing "misunderstandings" was from them, then absolutely not. They only want to make themselves feel better by justifying/downplaying their actions and getting forgiveness from you so that they can move on. You won't get the closure you seek from that kind of interaction, only more self doubt and despair. The best thing you can do for yourself is never involve yourself with them again. Don't worry about what they're doing or how they're living, just be happy that you never have to see them again.

No. 1636050

>>1635986
>They like thin women too, but the preference is generally for thicker thighs/asses/breasts and a slight stomach because it activates their brain cells, and 99% of the pressure to actually be skinny comes from other women and gay men.
I constantly hear anachans/ex anachans talk (regretfully, not bragging) about how they get 1000x more male attention when they're underweight than when they're a healthy weight, letalone thick in any way. I'd love to think otherwise but realistically it's a cope to say men prefer extra body fat unless it's perfectly distributed, definitely not with a 'slight stomach'.

No. 1636055

>>1636050
Not a cope, I've been shown this by men's comments when they think women aren't around/listening and also told up front I need to "gain weight" because I'm "too skinny" and "need boobs". Maybe in some places men will approach more, especially because skinny bodies are trendy, but their common pornography and "locker room talk" tell a different story. Even the straight men who run Brandy Melville were talking about big-breasted women in their GCs, not the types of girls they put on their brand. Knowing what sells to the target audience (women and girls) and reflects exclusivity isn't the same as attraction.
Note: Have you ever seen a straight man complain about a woman having a slight stomach? Not obese, just a slight one. I've seen them either not care, or talk about loving it and grabbing it and finding it "cute", it disgusts and confuses me so this is not a "cope". It's always women who complain, or zero in on a lack of thigh gap being a "minus" for a woman. No man will ever anachan sperg on you unless he's into severe ana and the lifestyle of it, all of it comes from yourself or other women.

You clearly have a biased against fat women and you should say it. Plenty of fat women get tons of male of attention. I've literally witnessed my overweight sister get cat called and hit on by men in public numerous times. A lot of fat women i know irl have no issues finding men to date or are married. Some men straight up find skinny women repulsive, let alone ana chans. It just sounds like this is not so much about you trying to understand the mindset of men, but you are mad that being an ana chan doesn't get you special attention. I think there are probably more men who are chubby chasers in the world than there are who find ana chans sexy.

No. 1636076

>>1636050
I think a huge part of it is their atittude. Anachans obviously will be more outgoing and friendly when they are at a low weight. On other hand, they will be more depressed and anxious with a higher weight. Normies wouldn't like to talk to a person who has high anxiety (or worse) because of a few extra pounds.

No. 1636079

>>1636071
I honestly can't stand most anachans, and it's not because they are mentally ill/self-destructive (I understand that), but because 90% of them are pickmes who love the idea of starving for a moid, and they start attacking women who aren't doing the same and still get male attention.
The inconvenient truth is is that there are usually two kinds of moids who have a fixation and specific preference for thinspo-tier bodies (not just "normal", conventionally attractive skinny, but actual thinspo/bonespo). One wants their girlfriend to become immobile and eventually perish for their fetish, the other desires to cuck them with who they're really attracted to (pre-teens), and will do so at the first chance they get. Instead of acknowledging that, they just insist most men have the same goal as them and will reward them. They go to date "normal" men, and are shocked and enraged when said men dislike their habits or find women who weigh more than them attractive. They see the whole thing as "spitting on their hard work" and become even more vitriolic to other women instead of just saying "I'm mentally ill, and I want this for me" and minding their business.

Actually I like wearing my glasses when I feel ugly or I’m not wearing makeup cause I feel like it covers up my face and draws attention away

I was like this when my PTSD was really bad because I didn’t like suddenly being able to see people’s faces clearly. I felt like everyone I passed was looking at me threateningly. So I only wore my glasses when I was driving, watching TV/cinema, or stargazing.
I’m surprised your friends are surprised by it. It’s really common to only wear glasses when you need them. I know at least three people who only wear their glasses when they’re driving, and one who takes hers on and off her head with seemingly no rhyme or reason (they’re not reading glasses).
Besides, have they not heard of contacts? It makes sense to be surprised when you see someone wearing glasses for the first time but it’s weird they comment on it the other way around.
Are you young? Do you have a lot of different frames? Maybe they think you’re faking it to be cool kek

Anons it's me the vape-anon and I'm back to tell you that I just bought a vape.

The vape was 9mg nicotine which i didnt want but i had to settle for because there were no low doses of 3mg or 6mg…honestly next time I'm thinking of getting 0mg.

I bought a disposable one because I want to test how vapes feel before I consider a refillable one.

Is it okay to just do mouth and exhale instead of mouth to lungs?

I tried mouth to lungs and it didn't feel good or as satisfying compared to just getting it in your mouth and exhaling immediately. I know you barely get anything in your system by doing that method but it just feels so much more satisfying than inhaling it into your lungs.

Are there any other anons who do that? Is it okay to just inhale it inside your mouth and exhale instead of the traditional vaping recommended guide which is inhale into the mouth then inhale into the lungs and then exhale.

Also it smells kinda….good

nona i’m sorry you’re going through this. Did you only just have your first outbreak? You should know that the first is the worst (especially for women) and they won’t all be like that. You can get antivirals that suppress outbreaks but even if you don’t, you’ll likely just be fine. Chickenpox is a herpes virus and the reason “you only get it once” is because the body adapts so quickly to it most people will never have another rash. Chickenpox lives in your spine and it can flare up just like any other herpes, especially in times of very high stress or low immunity overall, but most people don’t know this because every subsequent outbreak past the first one is so much milder they don’t even notice.
I had my first outbreak 14 years ago (also after being cheated on, but that doesn’t prove it came from him because it can lie dormant for years and a lot of people are symptomless carriers) and I’ve never had one since.
Don’t kill yourself. It’s a shock at first but it’s going to be okay!

I met up with a lesbian from a dating app once who clearly didn't read my profile before the date and for some reason assumed I was a gold star lesbian and not a bisexual (which I mentioned). ironically I'm still a 'gold star' (I've had one sexual experience with a man but it was not consensual, no romantic) but as soon as she found out I was bisexual she kept making really weird digs at me until I finally snapped and was like I've never even BEEN with a man by choice. then she was like '…by choice? so you HAVE been with a man, though?'. it was so retarded. also I think she had autism or something because she couldn't keep eye contact with me but instead she would shoot me these really intense looks every two to five minutes before looking away again which I think was supposed to be like her autistic version of an unimpressed stare-down or something. also she was obsessed with genshin impact?

I finished FSN a few months ago and I would say yes, its worth playing for Kirei. He’s one of the main antagonists and I’m not even an ojisan fucker but I found him sexy as hell. I love love loved his long monologues, beliefs, fights, everything. There’s a non-porn version of the VN (called Realta Nua) made for playstation devices so if that’s your main gripe go emulate that version. I played the R18 version and honestly you aren’t missing much beyond genuinely laughing at the poorly written H scenes and OOC behavior. IMO the girls are so likeable too, they’re treated as real characters although the VN still has its moid moments with them especially since you’re playing in the POV of a moid mc who was probably the worst thing about the whole VN and is frustrating to play as. Moids worship him as ZOMGGGG HE’S NOTHING LIKE THE OTHER SELF-INSERT PROTAGS HE ISNT EVEN A SELF-INSERT but he’s still annoying and shit. Dont listen to anyone telling you to just watch the anime or to watch fate/zero first, imo the best and most impactful experience is reading the og VN and then watching F/Z. Especially for Kirei since his role in F/Z feels even more interesting to watch if you know the full context of why he is the way he is. Its a long VN but if you can stomach a few moid moments, it is worth it in the long run. There’s also sexy Lancer, Archer and Gilgamesh for eye candy.

Also feel free to ignore FGO’s existence that’s another headache in itself

I remember a few years ago on reddit, I'd say I wouldn't want my potential boyfriend to watch porn or if he does, to tell me, so I could break up with him. Cue crying that I'm controlling because His Body His ChoiceTM. But how is this controlling? I'm setting my boundary–no porn. I'm setting consequences–remove myself from the relationship if he does. It's not just regarding porn of course, I have this towards anything I find morally reprehensible; if you do this, I'm going to end the relationship, no matter if romantic or platonic, because I don't see why I should put up with something like that. Sweetest nonna. You seem so earnest about this, and that is very endearing to me. But please do not attach business cards with your face and personal information and then hand them out to people you just met. You are going to end up getting posted and mocked online.
Normies do not have a problem with remembering names and faces. If you are making friends with normies, they do not need a business card with your face on it, and will find that off-putting even if they do. My suggestion would be to make your friendship bracelets to hand to people (charming), and then suggest trading phone numbers so you can text.
What is concerning you so much that you want to attach a USB with text documents about your "intentions", or business cards with your face on it?

Agree with this nonnie, I understand OP's vision but it is a little unsafe to hand out usbs/qr codes. Honestly, if you feel you can hit it off with them well enough to give them a bracelet, and they are happy and grateful for it, offer your number or contact info then. Handing out business cards for friendship might come off as you trying too hard. Most people prefer getting to know someone naturally, approaching with all your intentions and interests listed off is online behavior.

At first it wasn’t a big deal since it’s pretty hot and I got up kind of fast. But once I went back to laying down I noticed that I was still feeling off and it wasn’t going away. It felt kind of like having the spins when you drink too much. I tried going to sleep, but every time I switch sides while I’m lying down, I start to feel that dizzy feeling. And then I just went up to use the toilet and while I was sitting it looked like the room was spinning lol. My ear was hurting a bit yesterday night so idk if this is an ear infection or what, but I just want to make sure I’m not dying and need to go to the hospital lol. Does anyone know what might be going on? My head feels kind of heavy and my stomach feels queasy, but I think that’s a side effect from feeling all dizzy.

I need to get a bike to shorten my commute to work, but I am not super knowledgeable. I don't understand how some bikes, you have to get the one for your size, like XS is 5' to 5'3, S is 5'4 to 5'8 etc but some bikes have a range of 5' to 5'10. Why is that?
Right now I am choosing between the Beaumont City Bike - Step Through 7 Speed, which has the 5' to 5'10 size range and the Barron Comfort Hybrid Bike - Step Through 21 Speed which has divided up sizes. For that one, only pink is available in my size. I don't really want a pink bike but it's not the end of the world. I wonder if it would be less likely to be stolen if its in a girly color like that. How does buying movies on YouTube work? I wanted to see payment options as I don’t have a credit card and clicked “rent” on 500 days of summer, I have an iPhone and it made me verify the purchase with my fingerprint ( I do not have any payment options linked to YouTube neither do I have apple wallet or anything, only paypal and they make you login before every purchase).
Before I could select a payment option I got an SMS from Apple, telling me a code I couldn’t even enter anywhere because within 2 secs, the movie was purchased? The sms says “enter code to confirm phone bill as payment for apple services: [code]” but I didn’t enter the code anywhere and the email I got doesn’t tell me how I purchased the movie, only that the transaction was done by google commerce limitited. I thought I paid with the money I have on my phone card thingie (sry im ESL) but the amount of money on it didn’t change, so im left wondering how tf I paid this.

I’m just confused why it made me verify a purchase before I even selected a payment option, did not make me enter a code I apparently had to enter to verify again, and how I paid for it. The link in the email I got opened in iTunes and it had phone bill listed as the only payment option but I don’t get if it’s going to send me a bill to my address (? my address is listed there) or if it should subtract money from my phone directly (I have done that before through the AppStore though) I’m not a boomer I’m only 22 but electronics is not my forte and I never got sent a phone bill

I don't think it'd really work out. Like I know there's this cultural image of someone making friends with all the regulars of a local bar, but I doubt those would be people you'd really want to be friends with unless you want to die of cirrhosis. As far as downtown busy bars go, most people arrive there with company already, and even if you do get invited to hang out with some group, I don't think it's really the type of social foundation for a lasting friendship.
What's wrong with just starting a new hobby or joining some local hiking group or something?

It's easier to teach an animal to do something rather than not to do something. So set up a special shelf filled with things she can knock down. Next, start working on clicker training. Get a clicker, and every time it clicks, give her a treat. Once she associates the click with a treat, place her on the shelf and then click and reward. Meanwhile, put sticky tape sticky side up on forbidden shelves. She'll jump up, hate how it feels, and then jump back down. Discipline by one loud yell when she goes near bad shelves, reward when she goes near the good shelf.

I’ve tried going to bars by myself and even the bartenders treat me like I’m clearly autistic. I hate it. I tip $2 per drink (more than 20%) so I’m not a piece of shit. But yeah nobody has ever invited me to sit with them or started a convo. I’ve tried casually inserting myself into conversations in my vicinity and have been interacted with briefly and they didn’t seem UNfriendly or mad that I did so, they asked me a few questions it didn’t just end with my self insertion, but I’ve honestly had better luck striking up conversations in store queues. If you live anywhere near a theme park or amusement park, I recommend going there by yourself, and striking up conversations with people in the queues. I have always had great conversations this way and have made friends. No. 1640498

Samefagging to say this nonnie has great advice >>1640491 kek I’m just lazy and have never brainstormed any good way to get my cat to stop. I did get him to stop digging in garbage cans by getting pedal opener cans and giving him baskets full of safe trash with snacks hidden in them to encourage him to gleefully dig through it while still getting to feel like a delinquent. He is hilarious though, he literally wants to do things more if he knows they’re forbidden and telling him he’s bad is like a challenge. So I admonish him for digging through the acceptable trash can because it makes him do it even more enthusiastically. He gets to still feel bad without being bad.

The trash was a lot more of a problem than knocking stuff down cause I don’t really keep anything in shelves. Cause he was eating potentially dangerous trash.

Prepare some things before hand without making your family aware you plan to leave. Get all your papers in your possession (your original social security card and birth certificate etc), make sure your bank account is in your name and not a joint account you set up with your parents or something fucked up like that, if you have a car make sure you own it legally. Don't ever let them know how much money you have, especially if you are saving up. Get a job. Even a "shitty" job like fast food can give you some income and independence –lot of hospitality jobs like hotels get short staffed and you can pick up overtime which is extra $$, low bar for entry if you are friendly and eager to work they hire you. Privately research where you are going to live and figure out approximately what the initial cost would be (rent + deposit + moving expense if applicable like van rental); save up that much money plus 6 months rent minimum, more is better. If you are desperate to leave home and you have some income, you can save less of course it's just riskier (other things come in to consideration too, like f your current home is unsafe that outweighs the risk of not having a lot of savings.) Getting kind of general with the advice here because I'd have ot know way more about your situation to give actual advice.

side tip: personally I would avoid looking for a roommate situation even to save money. It's not worth it, you can get stuck with the whole rent and get fucked, roommates are a crapshoot, if you're from a dysfunctional family no offense but you're less likely to live in harmony with a stranger it usually gets weird because your boundaries are unclear to you and others.

I keep hearing people say that but I don't agree at all, it's never been awkward for me or people around me. I don't think foreigners coming here saying we're awkward becuase THEY don't get it or don't fit in with our cultural norms actually puts US at fault. Nta but you can't really expect somebody to basically act as a translator all day/evening long just because a friend brought her murican bf who can't study. You need quite a high level to be able to follow a conversation of multiple people and immediately translate. Participating yourself and having fun seems impossible that way too.

Plus sometimes people intentionelly talk in their language because they don't want others to hear what they say. Doesn't mean they're shiting on you, but some things are private and not to be shared with somebody who's so stranger that he can't even really talk with you.

No. 1642181

I'm never said anyone should act as a translator or anything remotely like that kek. In a group conversation it's rude to have one person completely left out. Even if everyone's speaking the same language, it would be rude for everyone in the group to talk about something that left one person out of the conversation, if the discussion lasted long enough. This is just basic manners. In order for one person not to be left out, there just needs to be 1 or 2 people who are talking to them and including them in conversation. And obviously there is no issue with talking your own language. I'm just saying one person being completely left out of a group conversation is always going to be rude. I really don't expect her to speak my language fluently and we do mostly switch to English. Sometimes when people are tired or talking about something very specific we will talk in our language and then I'll explain what we are talking about to her separately. She tries to learn my language too but it takes so long and is so exhausting to talk to her in our language because she won't understand a lot of the questions and might struggle to respond, or take a long time to put together a sentence. Imo it's kinda unfair to expect everyone to be good at everything, it's basically saying "not my problem, I speak this language from birth so it's easy for me and you're stupid for not getting that opportunity".
It's not really expecting everyone to cater to her, it's just communication. It's easier for us to speak English than her to learn a whole other language ASAP and be punished for being foreign in the meantime.
I think he's right, it is rude if they do it all the time. They should be hospitable and inclusive to the partner of their child surely? I also have a hard time understanding everything my gf's mother says in her thick accent but she talks slower with me and uses common words, it's just being nice and making them feel welcome. I'd also speak English to a German person in my country if they didn't understand, I don't see why everyone is so aggro about Americans.

I don't think I could forfeit sex at this time in my life, so for me it would be rough. Assuming it's someone I wanted to settle down with and we still get along after whatever incident led to no sex, it would be very difficult for me to abandon them. Maybe I'd get a secret side piece or ask for him to open up the relationship. If he simply stopped being sexually interested in me I'd try to resolve it but ultimately take it as a sign to move on.

Well, mainstream “femdom” presentation is truly just maledom with extra steps but she didn’t say anything about it being feminist, just that it might be motivated by misandry.
>>1642970
Assuming you’re only into female-gaze femdom, I don’t think femdom can be related to misandry the way maledom is related to misogyny. Male sexual sadism isn’t even lustful or sexual, men just aren’t capable of doing anything without it getting mixed up with their dicks, including woman-hating. Men fantasize about violent sex with women they hate as a mean to humiliate and punish her. Women on the other hand would not want to do anything sexually arousing with males they hate. Dominant women would only want to make sexual contact with and be serviced by men they like. So I don’t think you’re into femdom simply because you hate men. Hating men though probably made you reject male centric dynamics and propelled you to explore sexuality in subversive way.

Ranch is overrated as far as American dressings go. Caesar is much better, and even the light version is good when you get the right brand. Great with anchovies. No one says panties where I am, I genuinely think the view here is that panties is a kind of a sexual word so that's probably mens fault since it isn't inherently.
Like when I think underwear I think white, full coverage, not worth it for average pant thieves. Panties I think pink frilly, flirty. Oh god they got to me.

No. 1644363

>>1644307
There are other factors besides your starting weight and how much you're losing that affect loose skin, so it's really different for everyone. Some people carry fat very densely so their skin doesn't stretch as much in the first place, even if they're at a high BMI, and some people have skin that's more prone to stretching. Losing weight rapidly can also contribute to loose skin. The best way to minimize loose skin is to lose weight slowly, work on toning up your muscles, and take care of your skin in the meantime.

As a kid I always found it weird that females are "supposed to" like feminine stuff, and it's mostly soft, pretty, round shapes, happy, fun, delicate (I know it's obviously generalizing, but it is also true in general at large) and then men like the masculine, hard, dark, square and rough edges, scary and gross…
and then that's consistent for almost all things except: the other sex. Suddenly in this one instance females have to like the option that goes against all the other stuff, they have to like the hard edged, uglier, bigger, less cute, meaner etc option of the two sexes. And men suddenly have to pick the soft cute option.
Why are we like this lol it seems backwards somehow

Why do models eat so little? Wouldn't it just be easier on them to eat their maintenance calories, BMR, or TDEE (around 1200-1500 for most people), or eat a high fiber healthy diet of stuff like leafy greens and oatmeal, rather than eating cottonballs, excessive amounts of water, cigarettes/coffee, fasting for days, or whatever else they're currently doing?

Even if she was underweight her agency kept softly kept encouraging her to be more skinny. Some don't want to risk gaining any weight so they starve. Smoking and drinking coffee will lower your appetite and may keep you fuller. It also depends on the season like fashion week puts extra pressure on you but you can be less restrictive in more relaxed in your diet but any slip up and you can get less gigs.

Exactly. The point is for the frame to be willowy and similar to an androgyous males. Women have smaller skeletons and so its much harder to look genuinely bonelord compared to a thin man unless you have the specific genetic predisposition for it. Many tall women are built more like Taylor swift for example. The willowy model look is a lot more unnatural than people make it seem.

Skimpy clothes on men really peaked in the 70s when fashion was generally more androgynous. Showing a lot of skin wasn't so much of a gendered thing as just something you did if you were young and hot. I think men's attitudes towards revealing clothes started changing in the 80s as they became hyper concerned about not looking gay or feminine. Then hip hop and grunge made everything baggy, shapeless, and aggressively ugly, and we've never recovered from that.

It’s obviously more than that. Dancers live extremely active lives, their CICO is easily in deficit but still have to starve themselves to be industry skinny. Staying very underweight is a continuous process, your body keeps wanting to gain. Ask any anachan if they can maintain their low weight without at least high-restrict. Stress, fatigue, tobacco/alcohol use must do numbers on the metabolism. These people tend to blow the fuck up the moment they stop starving.

Does anyone know what the fuck is happening to me? Sometimes when I sleep or try to sleep, my body starts… buzzing? It feels like a caffeine buzz, or an intense nicotine kick. It feels like all the nerves on my skin is blooming and/or vibrating and at the back of my brain, something is gurgling. When it happens it's a little terrifying and I can feel myself internally panic like my body is about to shut down or something is about to happen to me. If I'm dreaming, the dream takes a really bad turn immediately. Earlier it just happened to me again. In the dream I was taking an escalator up a level in a mall while listening to music, but then this godawful sounding song started playing and I cringed so hard I started to buzz (kek). Whenever I buzz I feel like my actual physical body is about to take off, and that's what happened immediately in the dream. I started to float, and my body tossed itself off to the ground floor. I woke up right before impact, my arms all tingling. Am I deficient in iron or something?

What does it mean when a psychologist tells you that you're beautiful just before the interview is finished? I mean she did tell me that I was smart too and has done so before but then she said how unforunte Ice-T's daughter was as she looks like a carbon copy of him which is true, she and my father who was with me then went on to have a brief conversation on how lucky I am for not looking like him and whatever. If she was a male I would have been weirded out but I'm honestly just confused about what to think.

It shouldn't. Even if you brush regularly, if you don't floss regularly then yeah it's gonna be stinky. It stinks because you're disturbing the bacteria that has built up in-between your teeth. Futanari and related words (like trap, dickgirl) are all just porn words that trannies claimed were a slur since the past decade to have something to complain about. Nobody but hentai addicts until now would even know the term. It's a Japanese word and broadly meant hermaphrodite the more popular meaning is the porn genre, it's like "she-male" in English. You're ESL, imagine all the actual slurs aimed at your people, trannies want to bully people into taking it that seriously when the 'problem' is basically artificial.

What does black hair feel like, particularly the big poofy hair like picrel? Google says it feels like wool, id that true? How soft is it, and also, is it heavy when done like this? Does it stand up by itself or do you need to put something in it to make it that way?

Sorry, I just went down a rabbit hole of watching black youtubers and now I'm fascinated. I live in a country where nobody has hair like that here.

Wool describes it well, I wouldn't necessarily call it coarse when I've felt it per se but it's not really a notable texture, you can feel that it's strong and coily and dry when you rub it between your fingers. I mean i guess it can be heavy and it depends on whether its a wig or natural. It depends on the person and how much product is in the hair.

Yes, 4c hair feels wooly and if it's in an afro like your pic it feels poofy and soft. Maybe a bit spongey? Hard to describe if you've never felt it. Afros are light, not heavy at all. There's multiple ways to do afros but I think the most common methods are to blow dry it or "stretch" your hair with braids/twists overnight and then use a pick like picrel to lightly shape and fluff it. It doesn't need anything to stand up because it's basically just stretched out 4c hair.

What is the quickest way for me to gain weight and build muscles? I'm under 5'0 and around 90 pounds with little to no muscles due to an inherited disorder.
I also suffer from serious joint instability that causes my shoulders and wrist to dislocate by normal day to day activities so what workouts would help build muscles but also go easy on the body? What workouts would you suggest and/or diet? Thank you!

>eat a lot of protein
>lift heavy
>sleep a lot
for normies i recommend 1g of protein per kg of body weight, but since you are so underweight i would say 1.5g of protein. buy protein powder and drink protein shakes to easily hit this. also make sure you are getting enough magnesium, calcium, fish oil, and vitamin d. multivitamin can't hurt. sleep 8-9 hours a night. i suggest a weightlifting program such as StrongLifts. you must lift HEAVY, every other day. the StrongLifts website explains all exercises and how you should handle progressive overload so i won't go into that here

No. 1648952

>>1648950
sa before following this advice talk to a doctor or a physio to get their OK to do weight training (considering your join thing). i somewhat think you can only improve your joint instability if you build some actual muscle - for which you HAVE to put your muscles under stress. if you avoid proper exercise you will only grow weaker. but i am not a doctor, i am just someone who has been lifting for a few years. talk to a professional, get an OK to exercise, and then just do it.

I'm having a break down, I'm really sorry, I need to talk but I also have a lot if questions, this is just going to be rambling, I'm sorry, please feel free to ignore

Why didn't my mom tell anyone I was getting molested all the time at school? Why did she keep sending me? I get that the principal and whoever else were gaslighting her saying it wasn't that bad and she was hysterical and that it was a DOD military school so the police couldn't do anything (?) and there was no possible way for me to be put in a different classroom (???) even though it was my teacher encouraging the abuse
Why didn't she tell anyone though? She says she told her girlfriends at the time, because she said when she did finally withdraw me from school, her friends all agreed that she was doing the best thing for me
Why didn't she tell my dad? Why didn't she tell her dad? Why didn't she tell my doctor? I should have been examined, there would gave been visible evidence of the abuse. It went on from kindergarten, and then they put me in his class again in first grade even though they knew what he had been doing to me, and then they put me in Mrs. West's class and she said it was my fault and that I wanted it and I was disgusting, and she knew it because if I actually hated it, I would run and scream and cry, but he was telling me that if I didn't let him he would tell her that I had broken a rule and she would believe him no matter what, and I knew he was right because every single time I told her or my mom or the principal, I would get in trouble. The principal would always lie and cover up for Mrs. West, and Mrs. West would punish me in her class. She also used to beat this retarded boy, like really retarded, with a wooden object that I haven't been able to find another of by description online
Why did the principal want me to get raped too? I get that Mrs. West enjoys hurting children, but what was the principal'sdeal? I looked her up too, and she was voted person of the year or something in Missouri for "all the ways she's helped children in Fort Leonard Wood her whole adult career"
She helped?
She helped?
I'm bipolar and retarded and I can't sleep eat or shower; she helped?
Why didn't my mom tell her dad? Why didn't she ever tell Mt dad? They lived together at the time, they're still in contact today
What the fuck????
