But I knew I wouldn't react this way if it wasn't for PMS, plus my ex was pretty neglectful and manipulative, and it just made me feel like I was "crazy", and naturally I wanted to think that was just PMS that was making me "crazy" because I wanted to think that everything was generally fine. This, in turn, was tied with negative thinking and low self-esteem that made me stay in that relationship and made me hate myself and feel miserable whenever we had some stupid unpleasant talk or something.
Basically, hormones make you kinda weaker, more sensitive and vulnerable, but they just mostly bring existing problems to the surface. If there weren't anything real, your brain wouldn't have anything to latch onto, so to say. You do have a tendency for depressive states, but it wouldn't be that intense if you were generally happier/loved yourself more: you'd probably just get upset over mundane things and be kinda melancholic, fatigued and/or irritable, which I think is just a variant of the norm during this time of cycle. Calcium, magnesium etc. are still good for you but don't fixate on pms symptoms, I think it's really easy to make yourself disregard your emotions but that's what requires your attention and work, as well as something in your life that might cause these extremely negative emotions.

I think men are the actual issue here. I'm been trying to date around, and keep things casual with multiple guys, it's been interesting.

But this has something to do wth my personal taste in media, some shows I used to watch as a kid are unwatchable now as an adult because they're repetitive, episodic daily adventures and leads to nowhere, while others are fun to watch because it has a plot that goes somewhere which was my favorite thing as a kid but I still enjoyed episodic stuff when I was younger. I can enjoy episodic stuff as an adult but only if the writing is good enough for me to keep watching.
Some stuff I grew up on are too childish and toddler/preschooler oriented for me to take it seriously and enjoy it as an adult, it's just too dumb basically. While the more complex preteen to teen shows are the most creative and fun to watch. Same goes for games and hobbies. My hobby is singing and listening to music which is something you can never grow out of. Except maybe muisc genres and artists you listen to, but I did end up going back to stuff I liked when I was 14 and I even enjoy songs from when I was a kid that were cartoon themes simply because they're well written and not dumbed down for the younger audience. Which makes it easy to come back to and enjoy.
I assume people who grew out of stuff they like did so because what they used to like is too dumbed down and too childish for them and just not their thing anymore. But even I can't answer why would anyone enjoy marvel mcu movies as an adult because they're terrible. The cartoons are literally darker and more mature than the mcu, it's not even funny.

Does anyone else feel completely uncomfortable in a bathing suit or bikini?
My body is great by all means, but I just feel so naked wearing them out. As a kid it wasn't so bad because they covered up more, my body was childish, and I did not yet feel as sexualized. It's like I am uncomfortable being sexualized in public, but I also don't feel comfortable covering up when no one else is. I also have a fond memory is being gifted my first cuter bikini, and it looked good but I was still uncomfortable going to a pool party in it, or going to the lake party in another bikini. I could only swim at home with my friends without worrying. The people at those parties were not really friends they were classmates who invited me. In the end I went out in my bathing suit and enjoyed the oarty but it was mostly boys talking to me, and I think that's also what made me sad, that I couldn't fit in well with other girls, despite having had so many female friends before, it got harder and harder each year. The girls I felt tried to include me I could not talk to normally, on a different wave length type of thing, so they excluded me.

Currently I’m frequently housebound and have many difficulties performing my ADLs consistently and without help. I’m thankful as fuck that at least I am not bedbound like many ME patients become. I have spent about a couple days at a time bedbound but never longer than 36 hours and I could at least force myself with assistance to get up to use the toilet. I dread my bullshit chronic illness will suddenly fall into the severe bedbound and chronically housebound area everyday. My functioning has declined so drastically over the past 6 years that it makes me want to sob. zoloft dreams are insane, they started out really vivid but now it's almost like an apocalyptic groundhog day. a mudslide while planes crash out of the sky, stuck on the road not knowing where to go watching everyone around me die, disappear or leave me.
