Was there something you recently impulse-bought that ended up unexpectedly impressing you? Was there a product you had been eyeing for months that ended up a complete disappointment when you finally made the splurge? From vacuums to vibrators who cares, share whatever mundane buys you want to rave or bitch about. Stock photo of the item preferred in-post.

I bought this and it doesn't do shit. Azelaic acid from the ordinary is so much better even if it takes very long to see results. It never sinks into the skin and is sticky.

I really love this soothing eye mask I bought online. I'm around sawdust a lot and the little flecks that get in my eyes like dry them out and make them tired. This mask doesn't feel weird on the hair around my eyes either so it's way better than one of those little rolly sticks with serum in them. 8/10 purchase honestly

I've had awful red acne scarring on my cheeks so it looks like I have a lot of bad acne from afar, I bought this like 2 months ago now and have been using it every other night. I've noticed my acne scarring is fading a bit, and I've been having less acne. I'm also changing my diet to be healthier (for myself it's eating less dairy and sugar) So I'll report back if that helps too!

Idk why people always shit on store brand products. I picked up this tin of Tesco coconut milk on a whim (I like to make my own curry sauces) and it tasted just as good as name brand coconut milk but for like €2 less. I wasn't expecting this but I figured out that after you're finished, you can actually rinse the tin can out and lay it horizontally work cotton inside so I can crawl in and feel safe

When I was a teenager I collected versace and mugler scents (including the yellow, orange, etc subtypes and they all smelled horrible) but now I hate perfume and the smell gives me a headache mostly so I’m really picky about it. I got this roller ball on a whim at target because I liked the smell and it’s really nice and easy to control, no migraines. I might actually get the linen spray. The name is “Being Frenshe” which is really stupid but it looks nice and stashes easily.

Ayrt. Coffee creamer? I actually hadn't considered that. The texture of this coconut milk is somewhat solid a bit like icecream so I've been thinking of using it as the cream filling in a cake. I actually quite like eating coconut straight but I prefer when someone cuts a coconut in half for me and lays it gently in my environment so I can eat away at it intermittently

In hindsight I'm not sure how I didn't realise it earlier but bulk buying necessities like paper towels has been a joy. Seriously nonnas, if you just bite the bullet and buy like 5 or 6 multi packs you're gonna be set for like 2 years straight. The best part is when you finish a roll you can use the cardboard middle bit as a small tunnel to go through. I bought this a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed. My niece had an elephant one and I was so intrigued I bought this goose for myself. I felt kind of retarded for buying a stuffed animal as an adult but my god is this guy worth it. You pop him in the microwave for about a minute and he comes out nice and warm. He came in clutch when I had my period, he made a perfect heating pad. He is full of some type of bean/seed but also he has dried lavender inside him so he smells SO good. You can also put him in the freezer to make a nice cooling pad but I will say he works much better as a heating pad. My cat is also obsessed with him and tries to knead him kek

I bought these Neapolitan switches for my mechanical keyboard! Before I had some super light linear switches that would input letters if you breathed on them and I wanted something with a bit more weight to it, because while great for gaming my typing accuracy was awful kek. These new switches have a massive and noticeable bump at the beginning of the press, but it's very smooth and the keys "pop" as you type on them and it's very satisfying. most family run farms will actually sell you anything that could be considered "waste". So, things like slightly stale vegetables, excess compost, sawdust leftover from clearing away fallen branches/destroying old wooden planks. Some places will actually set up a regular thing where they will send things to locals like a subscription. Personally, I look at them will my lil eyes and when they see how my gaze reminds them of lil black boba tea pearls, their heart melts in adoration and agree to small transactions

Got fed up of buying cheap lipsticks and getting cheap results. Finally figured out my undertone and went looking for an everyday nude pink. This was £8, long lasting, looks pretty, thin and portable, very soft on the lips. Sheer but buildable, so I can wear it without foundation and still look natural. It's a bit drying after like four hours but it's pretty much time to reapply by then anyway. I love itttt

This palette is also a bit old now and I realized that it started to disappear from online stores since they stopped producing it I guess. Ayrt Kek your comment made me laugh I’m sorry nonny. I have really long hair and use those hair ties that don’t pull your hair and claw clips. I used to always use elastic hair bands and they’d pull out a lot of hair. Definitely helps too!

Bought 1L of coconut water, poured it over ice with some leftover canned lychees, just found out I hate coconut water and lychees. I would rather choke down a dirt-tasting spinach smoothie than finish the rest of the coconut water

Instagram gave me an ad for a different "boba tea" protein powder but they weren't on sale yet, and I stumbled across this brand instead. I was running low on protein powder and originally was going to try out Ghost for the first time and was leaning towards them because the flavor I wanted was about ~30 calories less than most of these (120 vs 150ish depending on flavor). I ultimately bought these to try for a few reasons

>flavors are unusual for protein powder market

>monkfruit sweetner
>advertised as 99.99% lactose free

The cons:
>sweetness coating the tongue aftertaste
I think some people might not like this, but for me this is much more tolerable than the aftertaste of powders that use Stevia/sucrose. It's very easy to get used to, and the lingering sweetness dissipates much faster than sucrose. Not really a con for me but I can see that it would bother people.

The pros:
>tastes extremely good
Nonnies, I'm not joking. This shit is so fucking good. Honest to god I had low expectations and I thought all the reviews on the site were lies/bots, but no, this shit is so extremely good. The monkfruit sweetener is a gamechanger. I bought the classic milk tea, matcha latte, and honeydew flavors and they are DELICIOUS. I really look forward to having some every day because it feels like I'm getting a little treat from my regular bubble tea shop.

>not that much more expensive than regular protein powder

It's $48 a bag.

>MIXES REALLY GOOD EVEN WITH WATER

They recommend half milk/half water. I use only water for all my protein powders to minimize calories. For the vegan protein powder I used, it was just barely tolerable. I chugged it just to get it over wiht. I chug this because it's fucking good. Even normal good whey protein powders are just… fine with water. It's just a bit watery and the flavor is just good enough (sucrose aside). This stuff? If I went to a bubble tea shop and they handed me this, I genuinely wouldn't be mad at the flavor. I'd think it's some pretty decent stuff. It won't beat some good ol' bubble tea with 50g+ of real sugar in it, but it's pretty damn close.

My life feels like it's been changed nonnies. I don't think I can ever buy regular whey protein powders again. I'm lactose intolerant and thought I'd just have to suffer with shitting my brains out or having shitty vegan ones, but no. I have found the near perfect protein powder for me that I love to drink, doesn't fuck with my stomach, and provides me with an ample amount of protein. I thought their gimmick was stupid and cringe at first, but it's one of the best impulse purchases I've ever made. It is slightly higher calorie, but the extra 30 calories is nothing for a protein powder that I genuinely look forward to drinking everyday. I've even made my family members take a sip without telling them what it was and they all thought it tasted really good. I didn't think that I'd ever find a protein powder that would work with my lactose intolerance, taste good with water, and be high protein (the vegan ones I used previously were only ~20g of protein per serving which was TWO SCOOPS per serving! wtf).

100/10 would recommend for nonnies, whether you are in the market for protein powder or not. It tastes like a good lil snack and if you have a sweet tooth it's like a little dessert except 100% guilt free.

Damn i was hoping to get some to add to my smoothies for the added electrolytes but now i am a little scared of going through with it. Then again, i actually do enjoy drinking dirt spinach smoothies the key is pineapple and apples I'll still do it anyways.

I bought this set a month ago and I am almost done with it. The shower wash is nothing special, haven't used the serum because i forgot i had it since i tucked it away into a drawer, the moisturiser is decent, i like that is has no scent and it has a nice texture. The star of the show is the scrub. I have kp and it did a good job keeping down the flare up. My shoulders look very clear. I'd never buy any of this stuff again though because it's too expensive. I'm glad i tried them out though.

i got the long black dress from skims. i love the way it fits! its very form fitting and hugs perfectly, but not tight at all so you can still move around in it. its seriously so cozy i feel like i could wear it all day and night! it works well as a casual dress or you can dress it up nicely. im not sure its entirely worth the insane price it cost, but so far i have no regrets.

I recently got myself a Stanley cup to encourage myself to drink more water and it's so worth it! I've been filling this up and finishing it twice a day and it's made such a difference in my skin already. Plus it's really amazing at keeping your water cold and fresh-tasting. I got it in this cute baby pink color and I love taking it with me everywhere. If you're bad at drinking water like me I highly recommend

Sometimes I think I'm annoying for buying a specific water cup with a straw (similar looking to yours but no handle) instead of just taking a regular glass from the kitchen, but drinking through a straw is an indefinitely better experience compared to drinking it regularly. I drink so much water in a day because I can just mindlessly sip it. Also if I'm really thirsty I can chug a whole bunch of ice cold water and not have my teeth hurt or have it spill all over me or up my nose.

i'm always apprehensive of buying celebrity brands because they're usually shit quality and they slap their name on it just to rack up the price but i'm actually very impressed with the dress and quality. i would definitely buy more clothes from the brand in a heartbeat if they weren't so expensive.
i understand not wanting to give her money though. maybe wait till there's a sale and then at least you're giving less lol
